NDS® gravel-free French drain products can be used as a substitution for a traditional gravel French drain. They consist of fabric, lightweight gravel substitute and pipe all in one package. The NDS® French drain can be installed anywhere a traditional French drain can is installed plus areas where access is limited or heavy gravel can't be easily installed. A few of the many applications are landscape drains, roof run-off drains, basement or crawlspace dewatering, retaining wall drains, foundation or perimeter drains, interceptor drains and curtain drains. The NDS® French drain is a prefabricated trench drain that is a gravel-free option to a traditional French drain. It cuts installation time in half by eliminating the need to transport, shovel and move heavy gravel. It is made of 3 or 4 slotted corrugated pipe, surrounded by NDS® poly-rock and wrapped in a geotextile fabric. It's durable, crush-proof and has a 100 year lifespan. The NDS® French drain has been designed to take water out of the soil and pipe it to a safe discharge point like an NDS® flo-well or pop-up emitter.
