TALON PTFE pipe thread compound is a triple lubricating, all-purpose, non-seizing, industrial-grade thread sealing compound that provides freedom from Leaks on all types of metal and plastic NPT connections (except ABS). TALON PTFE pipe thread compound contains graphite, ceramic microspheres and virgin PTFE for optimal sealing. ALON PTFE pipe thread compound will not transfer any taste or odor to the system being sealed. Excellent for food and water systems. TALON an anti-galling compound making it possible to disassemble pipes and bolts easily after years of service. Suitable for threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC, polyethylene and reinforced fiberglass.
